I have a Carvin CT6 Trans Green guitar and there is the numbers 97171 on the guitar input jack plate. I am not sure whether this number is the serial number or not.

Dec 07, 2016  Like was mentioned, there is no rhyme or reason to the way Carvin/Kiesel assigns serial numbers, therefore there is no way to 'decode' them. You best (only) bet is to contact Kiesel with the serial number and see if they (1) have the time and/or inclination to help you and (2) can look it up, see if they still have it in their database and can give you the particulars on it.

Just post them one at a time (a couple of three a day or whatever) and we'll get to them for you. We do this own our own time so posting them one at a time makes it much easier on us. We usually have time for one instrument at a time but not always for several instruments in a single post.
